Mix and match 15 custom made sound sources in three separate layers into unique new sounds. The sound sources all have had crystalline textures and overtones added to them in the sampling process. As a user, you may then add other effects, filters, arpeggiator and other controls to create your perfect sound. The possibilities are almost endless in this creative tool. Meet – Crystalline!
All sounds were created from scratch using hardware synths and keyboards, outboard gear and guitar pedals.

Originally intended for Pianobook, this is a fun Kontakt instrument based on a music box, but it does not stop there! We created 9 layers of unique textures and sounds created from this sampled music box. The possibilities are almost endless! The Songwriter Kit was developed first and foremost to fulfill our own needs of a versatile, but not overly polished, drum kit in the box. We needed something that sounded “unique” since we got tired of every demo and even many records we heard using the same commercial sample libraries over and over again. So we thought, why not make our own drum libraries? The goal with this one was to create a kit that would fit in environments with, mostly, other acoustic instruments. The kit therefore is perfect in genres such as singer/songwriter, pop and even some more organic sounding rock.
